The training is designed to draw the delegates into a proactive learning experience during which they are challenged to explore their own capabilities and attitudes, as well as elements of their roles and their performance at work.
Essentially GSSRI programmes are an interactive experience. Delegates are encouraged to participate in discussions and debates about relevant issues, which may lead to them reconsidering many of the concepts they may have taken for granted.
Delegates are also able to identify strengths and weaknesses and develop personal improvement plans. They will receive ample opportunity to express their opinions, share their inputs, hear about and observe issues that affect their performance – in their own- and other organisations – and familiarize themselves with international trends and developments.
